Sure, there are various ways to attract leads but at the heart of finding those leads are 3 principles of MLM success which are as follows:
- Build a list
- Build relationships
- Market to monetize that list
If you want to discover how to find MLM leads, you must first understand that you need to be able to market to people not based on your desperation. Telling people that they need your product or service is not the answer nor will it get you anywhere when it comes to business success.
Let me give you a couple of key tidbits of information to give you a clearer picture….
Let’s break things down into 3 phases:
- PPC (Pay-per-click)
- List builders
- Ezine blasts
- The MLM system used to create your list (I will explain this later.)
- Affiliate products
- Your primary business opportunity
- Marketing products
- Conference calls
- Blog talk radio
Keep It Simple…
Now this may look like a lot to you, it really is not because all you have to do is follow each phase, beginning with Phase 1. “Keep it simple in the beginning,” as was told by my very successful mentors. If you follow that same advice accompanied with MLM mentors who are there to personally guide you, you will succeed.
Now Phase 2 is where you are going to build your list. When I say list, I mean the people that opt-in to your landing page and become your potential customer. This is the beginning of your list. Obviously the more people you have on your list, the better because that is the potential for you to make more money.
Phase 2 is also the phase that separates those who are serious about what you have to offer from those who are just looking. You do not want to waste your time on people who are not really serious about their business. Those who treat their business as a hobby do not make money.
So if you it appears that they are not serious or are making excuses for why they do not want to join your business, move on! You want people on your team that want the same goals, have the same drive, motivation, whatever you want to cal it, as YOU.
It may sound harsh, but do not waste your time on people who just want to try things out for a couple of months to see what happens or those who are skeptical to begin with. This will take away precious time from your earnings. Move forward because believe me, there are plenty of people who are serious and whom you can market to.
Phase 2 also teaches you how to improve any of the techniques that are mentioned in Phase 1and it also serves as a great way to get people into your Phase 2. This phase is the phase that brands you through your capture page (NOT a replicated company website), auto-responder, and your sales page.

Phase 3 can be described as you back-end business, so to speak. It can also be anything that you want it to be, but again do not spend any time on this phase until you are where you want to be in phase one. You want to have a fairly large list.
Again, you should first focus on Phase 1 on concentrate on getting leads. Direct people to your landing page where they have to enter their email address. You may want to leave the phone number as optional in your opt in box in the beginning because I will tell you from personal experience, you WILL get more leads if you do not require people to give you their phone number.
